Senior Civil Engineer

The position is a twelve-month contract under an outsourcing company. The successful candidate will work on a 4/2 FIFO roster.

Purpose of the Role:

Provide support on the operations department, including:

Develop integrated basic design and technical document for construction for Infrastructure that comply with Mining and Civil standard, as well as gathering input from other discipline (MEP, Archi, Hydro, Sustain, HSR, etc)
Review and/or improve technical document and construction design provided by contractor.
Provide a field technical solution for any deviation or variation execution.
Advisory of project acceleration.
Develop and apply Quality system for design and inspection for construction job.

Responsible to provide or review or improve technical and design for construction.
Provide support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress.
Perform and manage project activity scheduling and monitoring.
Actively involved in technical tenders (subcontractor’s quotations) for the preparation of Service agreements related to a new construction project or study.
Coordinate and work contractor and others related department to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/ completion of the project work.
Perform safety inspection and make sure compliance to safety regulation in operation.
